i got the urge for a bit of a change around here, which is a pretty normal thing for me — many of you regulars that still visit after all these years and this slightly new domain can attest to, i’m sure — so figured i’d try out a new theme, since i’m now running with wordpress and all… snagged a theme, then spent the last couple days modifying and tweak’n it out a bit.

this theme’s a little more modern, with the “timeline” style that facebook (and others) have made popular — so figured i’d give it a try around here… digging it so far, but most of all i’m starting to like the different blog formats such as image, video, quote, etc… think i’ll start using those more.

still would like to get some slick ajax-commenting going on around here — same as on Google+, for example — but figure i’ll eventually find or figure something out.

oh, and i finally added back the about and babesNSFW pages. *g*

anywho, let me know what you think mang.

  11. The “menu” icon in the upper left doesn’t do anything. What’s it supposed to do? Also odd how the page has to fully load until the content comes up. At least on the mac.

  12. Eh, not really digging it, to be honest. Im used to just scrolling down one line, now my eye have to look on both sides.

  13. Love your site, so I would love to see a list of sites you frequent every day. I’m always looking for something new, tired of the same old crap.

  14. @AJ: weird…. so nothing happens at all when you click on the “menu” icon in the top-left? i’m on a mac here, and the menu works just fine for me here (chrome/safari/firefox on mavericks)…. hmmm.

@oscar: i hear ya, change can be a bitch mang… heh… but as always, my blogs mostly a place for me to just mess around — for the most part, actively blogging everyday is almost secondary, though i’ve just gotten so damned used to it… now it’s just a part of my regular day. lol

@Boboli: maybe i’ll throw a blog post with some sites i tend to frequent regularly…. which reminds me, i really need to clean-up my rss feeds i subscribe to… really is getting out of hand.

  16. Posts take so long to load! Design is cool and all but it sucks to have to click into a post to comment on them.

  17. @Brad: thanks buddy ;)

@Fred: not sure whey loading posts would be taking so long (loads up pretty damn fast for me, after a momentary “pause” onload)… as for the comments, i mentioned it above… but it’s no different than it’s been, having to click to read the whole post or to comment — ditto on a million other blogs… something i just mumble about from time-to-time since going over to the dark side (wordpress) around here.

  18. Yea, I guess I just miss it from a year (or more) ago when you could just start typing in the comments right there. I’ve definitely comment a lot less since the change.

  19. man, i hear ya buddy… that’s the one thing i really, really miss from my old blog.

i coded that up and used it for years it feels like…. maybe one day i’ll be able to replicate that with WP…. maybe…
